This morning Matthew and I took Hudson to his interview to be a camper at Camp Bow Wow.We signed in and then he was taken and introduced to a beagle named Joey. He passed that (because he did not show signs of aggression) and then was taken into a play yard. He was shy! But they told us he'd be fine and we should come back in several hours to pick him up. It was like a free day of doggie day care. We showed up and watched him on the cameras for a few minutes (because we didn't go home at all to watch him from the internet cameras). Matthew and I went to lunch, Barnes and Noble, and then saw the movie, The Express (very good). He was poking around and just hanging out. He was excited to see us though!!! And we were just excited to see him, too. They said he'd done a great job and was welcome back anytime. They even gave us a little report card about his stay. They said he was really shy and would grow accustomed to all of the other dogs with more visits. They also reported that he ate ALL of his lunch...(big surprise - haha)!
We were happy because he's really only been around Matthew and I. We plan on taking him back soon so he can continue to socialize! He'll also be staying overnight there when we go to Ann Arbor, MI in a few weeks. On the way home he was so tired, he could barely keep his eyes open!
