Matthew and I had a date night last night...complete with popcorn, Sour Jacks, and Diet Coke. We saw this movie. I must say that while the movie was cheesy (
think ABC Family) it had several wonderful points about marriage. The movie focuses a lot on the marriage covenant. In one part, Caleb's (the husband) friend glues salt and pepper shakers together. Caleb goes to rip them apart when his friend tells him, "Don't try to pull them apart - If you do, you'll break one or both of them." Very true. The movie also focuses on a book,
The Love Dare. It encourages the person (or couple) to complete 40 days of tasks/devotionals. This movie truly shows the right definition of love. One line in the movie has stuck with us...
"Don't let your heart lead you because it is deceptive. Lead your heart."
