adam & ali's wedding.

We just love driving across Kansas...looking at the fields and flat land. As boring as it may seem, we never get to see this living in Pittsburgh!

How we wish we could've stopped in Manhattan on our way. It was Homecoming weekend too!

We did stop in Junction City to grab lunch on our way up to Nebraska. It just happened that we pulled off and went to Mr. Goodcent's which was right next door to where Matthew and I had our first date. It was here at this Marriot Courtyard Convention Center where we went to The Theta Date Party, High School Flashback. So ironic! I loved that night!
If you look closely, you'll see a ton of windmills. Apparently, they stretch all the way west towards Colorado. They are massive but an amazing structure.
We stayed at the Victorian Inn. It very victorian. Superior is a neat little town. There is a part of us that loves small towns, but we love the big city too. Part of me thinks it would be neat to know everyone and part of me would really miss Target and Gap and ya know...all those things big cities offer. The simplicity of life out there though is BEAUTIFUL!
At the rehearsal dinner at the 4th Street Junction!
The guys (minus Nick). They had a great time hanging out together, just like old times. After the rehearsal dinner we all went to the Eagle's Club.
Saturday morning came and Adam realized he had locked his keys in his truck. Not that big of a deal, except his tux and Clay's tux were inside! Oops! They tried a coat hanger and it didn't work, Matthew tried calling our Verizon roadside assistance but they don't come to Superior, NE, so Steve slithered himself through the tiny back window. Worked like a charm!
After dropping the guys off for pictures at the church, Teal and I went to take Adam's truck to the reception. Thank goodness that Teal can drive a stick shift because I had no clue and I wasn't about to try! We laughed so hard, so many times!!!
At the wedding.
(pardon the Target bag)
Matthew, Steve, Nick, and Eric
Party time at the reception!
Matthew giving a speech. He did a great job! (even though he said there are days when he comes home and looks at his wife, and feels "meh"....case in point, love is not always a feeling. Maybe you had to be there to think it was funny!)
The guys (and Teal and I) blowing up balloons for Smitty's truck. Mr. and Mrs. Adam Smith or...Dr. and Dr. Adam Smith! Congratulations!!!

We had a fabulous weekend! We really cherish and enjoy spending time with our friends. There are always some hilarious moments and great memories to hold on to!
