1. the cake was (and still is...) delicious! (if i must say, i have become quite the domesticated wife over the past year...cooking, baking, sewing. where did i come from?)
2. yes, Hudson got presents on M's birthday. you see, the second Matthew walks in the door from work, Hudson is up and roaring to play all night long. So, "hudson got his daddy some toys to let him know that he was going to play with them and let him have some peace and quiet." make sense? maybe not, but it works for us!
(*okay, one of them worked - his new nylabone. by the way, this is the 2nd nylabone in a month....the other one just up and disappeared. anyway, the tug-of-war toy got returned because he didn't want it...just wanted his old tug toy.)

Yay for domestication! Although I truly wish I had a job right now, I secretly enjoy being home too! There are so many fun things to do around the house.
