our 4th anniversary.

It's hard to believe we are celebrating our 4th anniversary this year!  Time does fly...

I picked Matthew up for lunch and we went to Waldo Pizza...it was yummy!

Once Matthew was home from work, we exchanged cards and got ready to go eat at Seasons 52 on the Plaza.  They have some yummy food.  Matthew enjoyed veal and I enjoyed pork tenderloin.  We weren't rushed and enjoyed our drinks and tasty food!

We stopped at Cupcake a la Mode to grab a cupcake for dessert.  They were also so delicious!

Our family was so thoughtful as always and gave us some lovely gifts!  Thank you to both sets of our parents for thinking of us on our special day!

We're looking forward to our trip to Florida at the end of the summer to celebrate our anniversary even more.  It's hard to imagine where we will be 4 more years from now....but I'm sure there will be many more blessings in our life together!

Matthew and I enjoyed a little "staycation" for our anniversary celebration.  We enjoyed dinner out on our actual anniversary on Tuesday but decided to have a little weekend retreat.

We left poocher-man at home to be picked up my parents for the night.  (He is worn out now from playing with Jack and Zoe.)

First stop:  Shine Spa.  It was amazing!  We had a couples massage and I think I can say, we'll be back!

Then we checked into our room at the Sheraton on the Plaza.

We had a lovely room and nice views from the 15th floor.

 After that, we strolled on the Plaza for a while, went in a few stores, and picked up a little treat for later.

We checked movie times but nothing was playing when we finished dinner so we headed back to the hotel.

We enjoyed champagne and toasted to the next year...

and the most amazing cupcakes ever...

and chocolate covered strawberries!

It was so relaxing and fun!  We loved spending time talking and planning for the next year of our life together! It is so lovely.

We had a lovely anniversary evening.  We enjoyed dinner at J. Alexander's....so yummy!  Then, we went to grab dessert at Peachwave (one of our very favorite places for a treat!).  

More celebrating this weekend...

We had such a wonderful day with our family and friends.  I love the pictures.  I love the memories.  I love being married to Matthew.  It is a wonderful life, indeed.  Thank you God!
