Most of our small group went to the Third Day concert.  We met for dinner at Salty Iguana first!

chris tomlin concert.

This past week, Matthew and I went to the Chris Tomlin concert.  I was so excited for this and had been waiting for several weeks until the day came!  Our seats were on the floor (we waited a little too long to buy the tickets) but it was so fabulous! 

As we were leaving the concert I looked at M and said, "That was so good for my soul."   He looked at me and said, "That was better than the Garth Brooks concert!"

It was wonderful, indeed!

God's will.

tired.

energetic.

guarded.

hopeful.

impatient.

waiting.

cautious.

dreaming.

frustrated.

joyful.

I believe that yes, it is possible to be a mix of all these emotions! But......we'll lean on this:

"we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (romans 8:28) Sometimes it's so hard to grasp how different our desires are and can be than God's will for our lives. That's how we are learning and growing. "delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." (psalm 37:4) Are our hearts in the right place? That is why we put our trust in Him.
