Poor Hudson! 4 shots (3 in the rump, 1 in the neck) and 2 antibiotics later, we went home from the vet. No worries though. Poocher is just fine (okay, well for the most part!). He's been itching his eyes and snout for a while and finally, we decided we should take him the vet. Plus, he needed his vaccinations for the year so we did that while we were there too. Come to find out, he probably has allergies and he'll probably get them every spring/fall. Hopefully the cream for his eye and antihistamine pills will do the trick! Speaking of poor Hudson....poor Kandace! I took him after I got off work today and Matthew wasn't home yet. Remember the last time I took him to the vet by myself? The time we had quite the incident in the car (thankfully that we no longer own)! And praise the Lord, NOTHING like that happened this time.
I was just exhausted when we left. So many smells, so many people, so many doggie treats from the Dr, and so much attention. I had his pinch collar this time and don't know how I would've done it without. He still has SO MUCH ENERGY all the time. Our vet told me today that when he hits 4 years old, he'll probably calm down. Where are the people who told us it would be 2 years? Ha!
One thing we know for sure, we wouldn't trade him for any other dog in the world!
