blakely's christmas program.

Matthew and I went up to watch Blakely in her Christmas program from her school.  Her class sang two adorable songs!  She is so grown-up.

blakely's 3rd birthday!

Our niece, Blakely, turned 3 on June 28th!  My mom and I went up to visit her and we went the girls and my sister to see Fancy Nancy at the library.  

She got to make some bracelets!

Then, we went to lunch with the birthday girl at Red Robin!

After her nap, my sister showed her the birthday cake she made for her!  It was Rapunzel.  Blakely LOVED it!

On Sunday afternoon, they had Blakely's birthday party!  She had a lot of fun swimming, eating, and opening presents.

trunk or treat.

On Sunday, we went out to my parent's for their neighborhood trunk-or-treat.  

 Blakely was Miss Independent walking from trunk to trunk and saying, "Trick or Treat" or "Happy Halloween!"

 When we got there, she wanted Uncle Matthew to walk with her though.

One day this week when I was hanging out with Miss B, my mom came and we went a couple of teacher stores that were having a sale and then to get Blakely a treat!  

She had so much to say while she was enjoying her treat.  She LOVED her ice cream cone and thought it was hilarious when she got it all over her lips!

I've been fortunate to watch Blakely a few days the past week and for the upcoming week.  We walked to the park last week one day.  We didn't stay too long because it was HOT!

 She LOVES the swing and laughed so hard when I she pretended to get me with her feet when the swing came back towards me.

We took water with us but it was still hot even with a breeze.  When we got home, I put my hair up in a pony so she asked me, "Blakely have ponies."  So she got two pony tails!
