birthday celebration continues...

Matthew's family came over a week ago to celebrate my birthday.  We made some enchiladas for dinner and enjoying time to catch up.

turning 27!

My birthday came and went...and I am now 27!  Sounds so much older than 26 but I supposed that's something I'll say every year.  We celebrated with my family on the Sunday before my birthday with a little taco bar and tasty coconut limeades!  My sister happily hosted us all at her house and my mom and her provided all of the yumminess - thank you!!!

Blowing out 27 candles...it was a tasty pink lemonade cake (will be having this again!).  Miss B helped me out.

 Opening some gifts...everyone is always so kind and generous!

 My handsome sent some beautiful flowers to school to start my Monday morning at school!

On Monday (my actual birthday), I went with my sister and the girls to meet my mom at the Plaza.  We went to Sur la Table and then to Cupcake a la Mode to get some cupcakes.  Such a nice treat!

When Matthew got home from work, he had me open one of my presents before we headed out to dinner!

It was a new camera! 

Then, we headed off to dinner at North.  It was super yummy!

Then it was a quick stop at Peachwave for some brithday dessert and a few more gifts.

Matthew and my family really spoiled me.  I'm so very blessed and grateful!

Our small group also spoiled me at our Bible study.  They had a delicious funfetti cake for me and a nice gift card.  Thank you for being so thoughtful!

We are SO blessed and thankful!  I love having Christmas morning at home with Matthew and Hudson.

big news!

I will be teaching Kindergarten at my school next year!

I am beyond thrilled and excited.  I was missing having my own little classroom and my own little kiddos.  An opportunity arose and it really worked out well.  I have enjoyed my time in special education but there was something I was missing.  I'm so excited to dig out all of my Kindergarten "stuff" and fill those little ones minds with knowledge.

I've wanted an apron for a while and I asked my fabulous mom to make one for me!  She did a fabulous job!  I love it!

And I believe this is the 1st thing that I actually have with my married monogram... how crazy is that!

my 26th birthday.

I had a fabulous birthday with my family! But, I'm getting old. Ha! We started off this morning with breakfast at Einstein and then we ran a bunch of errands and went shopping!

Then we went back to our house for cake and ice cream!

It was a great day! Matthew is a wonderful husband and he made my birthday so nice and enjoyable. I loved that it was on a Sunday so we could just do whatever, all day! Here's to another great year...
