About an hour before I was planning to stop for the night in Illinois, I came across this. Cars and trucks lined I-70. There had been a major accident, requiring a medical helicopter. We were at a standstill in the car for about an hour on the interstate.
I gave Hudson a braided rope to occupy his time. He didn't like that people were walking around the car and such so this stopped him from barking at them. The next day, he was exhausted. He didn't sleep real well in the hotel (he kept hearing noises). Too bad, I couldn't sleep too. :)
I've been having fun helping my sister get some things ready for baby Blakely's arrival on Monday!!!
Hudson and I played some fetch in the backyard. I threw, Hudson fetched. Rather well actually!
He actually kept bringing it back to me! What a good boy!!!
We are so ready to meet this little girl! Her room is all ready for her.
Kari and I worked on making some pictures for above her dresser. They turned out pretty!
Today, I made Blakely a tutu for the 4th of July. She will be adorable in it! Maybe tomorrow we'll make her a shirt that says, "lil firecracker" or "miss independent."
